Indifference is a peculiar thing; no one knows exactly how or why it likes things, and yet it can help or harm you. It's as quick as a puzzle that needs solving to advance oneself or a situation, or to bring it to ruin. It almost borders on blasphemy how vastly different the outcomes can be when indifference turns out positively or negatively. You can exploit indifference, but it's difficult to lie to it. And even exploiting something indifferent is, and seems, dangerous enough that, as a rule, one should steer clear of it. A strange thing indeed, this indifference.
