Isn't it strange how often good people experience precisely what they don't fear? It's as if they're consumed by a shadow that ignores them so others can bask in their success. But who knows, perhaps truth and honesty arise from this. Perhaps these and many other reasons must be this way for us to understand life, to find confirmation within it, and to grasp what life is truly about. All too often, we stumble right past these reasons in life, only to find ourselves in just such a situation afterwards.
